Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page! Here, you'll find answers to common queries about our cat hotel. Our facility boasts 8 cozy rooms distributed across 4 cabins, nestled in a serene corner of our spacious garden. Rest assured, all our cabins are thoughtfully equipped with climate control, ensuring a comfortable stay for your feline companion no matter the season.

  • Standard brands of food are included in the price (Felix, Whiskas, Go Cat) we ask that any premium/prescription food is provided by the owner on arrival.

  • The daily price includes the accommodation, food, water, treats, one on one play time throughout the day, administering medication (if required). Cuddles come free!

  • We offer a daily report and photo updates service via Whatsapp at an additional cost. You are welcome to call us for a general update.

  • Yes, we welcome prospective clients to arrange a visit at a suitable time for them, this must be booked in advance with us. If you would like to arrange a viewing please get in touch on 07384252064 or jasperscathotel@outlook.com

  • We are open Monday – Friday 9-10am and 5-6pm and Saturday & Sunday at 10am-12 noon. Arrivals and collections are strictly between these times, tailored times can be arranged at booking stage if required.

  • When you have decided you would like to go ahead and book in with us, we will send you our booking and consent form and request a 25% deposit which is due immediately to secure the booking. The deposit is non-refundable. Payment of the balance is due on arrival day. In the event of a cancellation within 72 hours of expected arrival, the full stay will be chargeable. We only accept payment by cash or bank transfer.

  • We provide all the essential items for your cat so there is no requirement for you to provide anything, but you are welcome to bring a bed/blanket/toys from home to help your cat feel settled. Any property is left at the owner’s risk.

  • All cats are required to have a valid vaccination certificate for feline influenza and feline enteritis. Primary vaccinations must have been administered no less than 10 days prior to boarding. Please bring your most recent vaccination documentation with you as your cat cannot be accepted without this documentation. All cats will be inspected by us at check in. We may refuse admission to a cat showing signs of ill health. Please note all male cats over 6 months must be neutered.

  • If your cat should appear unwell whilst in our care, we will endeavour to take your cat to it's own vets, but if this is not practical, we will use our own 24/7 veterinary surgery.

  • Yes, our minimum stay period is 3 days. At Christmas the minimum stay is 7 days.

  • We are proud to offer 10% off for Blue Light Card holders, please let us know at the point of booking you would like to redeem this discount. We are also happy to offer a discount for stays over 3 weeks.

  • Yes we are open every month throughout the year, including Christmas but we are usually closed for one week in May/June and one week in September for our own holidays.

  • Yes, a double rate will apply for all UK Bank Holidays. We are closed for arrivals/collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

  • No, unfortunately we do not cater for diabetic cats.

  • Cara has an OFQUAL Level 3 Award in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare as well as owning 6 cat

  • We are onsite 8am-8pm daily and all cats are checked in on every 3 hours as a minimum.

  • A copy of your own up-to-date vet insurance is required to cover the period of stay. Jasper’s Cat Hotel is fully insured, our current provider is Pet Plan Sanctuary, full details are available on request.
